Henriette Sabroe Ebbesen in Fisheye magazine

The French contemporary photography magazine Fisheye has picked SIRIN artist Henriette Sabroe Ebbesen as their ‘Curiosity of the Week‘.

Fisheye is a leading art magazine which critically presents the photo medium in relation to social, political and economic affairs.

In the article, Henriette talks about her work and how it reflects her thoughts about female identity, the role of manipulated imagery of female bodies and cosmetic surgery culture.

Fisheye points to Henriette’s own manipulative technique as holding the potential of liberating people from society’s imposed alienation of the human body.
