Valerie Collart’s work is mainly based in sculpture and photography. Collart’s practice experiments with the limits of her chosen mediums to reflect on their permeability.
Since moving from Paris to Copenhagen in 2008 , Collart’s work has been included in shows at David Risley and Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
She was also awarded the prestigious National Solo Award at Spring exhibition in Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen (DK) and has exhibited extensively throughout Europe.
Valerie Collart has studied at the Ecole nationale supérieure d’art Villa Arson in Nice and obtained B.A in 2004 and M.A with honorable mention in 2006.
